(Smithfield-AP) -- A 12-year-old girl is dead after drowning in a high school swimming pool over the weekend.
Cache County Sheriff's deputies say Kinsey Norma Shaw was swimming Saturday afternoon in the Sky View High School swimming pool.
The details surrounding the girl's death are not yet available, but deputies say lifeguards on duty pulled her out of the pool.
Shaw was pronounced dead at Logan Regional Hospital around 3 pm Saturday.
Investigators are calling the drowning an accident. Deputies say the drowning was not related to a school function.
There's no word yet on whether the girl was a student at the school.
