A lot of family-fun spots are opening for the season this weekend. For instance, the outdoor pools are scheduled to open all over Utah this weekend -- if the weather allows.
Utah's Olympic Park outside Park City is launching into summer with bobsled rides for anyone who dares. There, the season's activity list is long. A summer ski jumping camp allows anyone to take the plunge.
For something a little more grounded, ‘This is the place Heritage Park’ opens tomorrow morning at 10:00. A step back in time won't cost you a thing; it's free all day Saturday.
Russ Wood, This The Place Heritage Park: "We'll have living history going on starting tomorrow. So people can come up here and see how pioneers really lived; they can see the oxen up and down the street, the carriages rolling through the streets."
Summer is in full swing at Lagoon. There’s a new fountain at the entrance and two new colorful rides inside Kiddie Land. The park is open all weekend, and weather won't stop the fun.
