OREM, Utah (AP) -- A car involved in a multiple-vehicle accident crashed into an Orem house, where no one was home.
Fire Capt. Joe McRae said a sedan veered off the first accident, then struck a parked van and went on to hit the house.
The car drove 10 feet into the house and struck a couch, he said.
The driver, a 70-year-old Salt Lake City woman, was treated for rib pain. No one else was injured.
The house was owned by Jodi and John Topham, who had been preparing to move into a new home in a week or two.
There was no damage estimate.
