(KSL News) -- Drivers just over the southern Utah border are coming unglued in a sticky situation.
A toxic glue spill closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 near Mesquite, about ten miles from the Utah state line. Motorists are being re-routed off I-15 and onto State Highway 170.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says a truck driver fell asleep, crashed his rig and spilled some 200 gallons of dangerous carpet glue all over the road around 2:00 a.m.
Troopers say the glue has already hardened, three inches thick in some places. As for the semi, it's STUCK to the road.
Roads are still closed and troopers say it may take until sometime tomorrow to clean up the whole mess.
