(KSL News) -- Cops in Utah County sure enjoyed the heat today.
While the special olympic athletes were out competing, cops were out getting wet for the athletes sake.
Customers who rolled into Maverick for a tank of gas could dunk cops in a water tank -- 75 cents for three throws.
They got over 100 dunks and earned 130 dollars. All proceeds go to Utah's Special Olympics.
It's the first year they've done it and the officers say because of the great turn-out they'll probably do it again next year.
