(KSL News) -- The Box Elder School District has banned all pagers and cell phones.

District officials say text messaging on cell phones could be used to cheat on tests and camera phones violate privacy in locker rooms.

Teachers and administrators are told to confiscate any cell phones or pagers found to be used inappropitately.

Other state school districts---including Davis and Weber County---have similar policies regarding cell phones.
