(Kearns-AP) -- There will be more officers patrolling the streets in Kearns and Taylorsville.

That's because of a car fire and string of vehicle vandalisms this week.

Early Tuesday morning police were called because of a fire that completely destroyed a car. Salt Lake County Sheriff's deputies say that's around the same time about a dozen other cases of vandalism were reported.

Officers so far have no suspects. But they're asking the public to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
