(Roy-AP) -- A Roy woman is facing charges after police say she unleashed her Rottweiler on her neighbor.
It happened Monday night around 8 p.m.
Roy police say the 33-year-old woman was arguing with the man when she unleashed the dog on him while she was hitting him.
Police say the woman's 47-year-old roommate heard the scuffle and came out of the apartment wielding a shot gun.
The man was able to get away and call police. He was treated at the scene for dog bites.
The two women both face aggravated assault charges.
Police say the women and the man had been feuding because he often throws parties at his neighboring apartment.
