SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) -- Two people have been killed and four injured in a collision in Spanish Fork Canyon.
Names have been withheld pending notification of kin.
The fatal victims were a woman and an infant who were riding in a car that was struck by a pickup truck that had crossed the center line, the highway patrol said.
The accident happened just before 5 p.m. Monday on U.S. 6 near Thistle.
The driver of the car and a child seated behind him were flown to the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, patrol spokesman Chris Kramer said. The driver of the pickup truck and his passenger were taken by ambulance to Mountain View Hospital.
