(KSL News) -- Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort joined forces with Save our Canyons to show opposition to the FAA Northern Utah Airspace Initiative.

The groups met today with other officials to discuss why they don't want the FAA flying over the canyons they work and live in. They worry how pollution caused by low flying aircraft will affect the wilderness, tourism and the livelihood of people living along the Wasatch mountains.

The FAA Northern Utah Airspace Initiative is a proposed a flight path over the east bench.
