(Saint George-AP) -- The fire is contained, but the cleanup into wildfires that charred more than 34-hundred acres in southern Utah is probably just beginning.
The Bureau of Land Management says the fire was contained last night. But smoke could continue to come from the burned acreage for weeks. The fires near St. George were sparked by lightning.
Federal aviation investigators are also looking into a tanker crash that killed a pilot on Thursday. The investigation could take several months.
