(KSL News) -- An accident during this morning's commute killed a women in American Fork.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers say Deborah Crowthler and her 17-year-old daughter, Linsay, were driving northbound on I-15 when a man driving a pickup truck crossed the median and hit their van.
Crowthler died instantly. Her daughter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the truck was LifeFlighted to University Hospital in critical condition.
Troopers think a blown tire may have caused the driver to lose control of the truck.
