(Salt Lake City-AP) -- The Magna man found dead in his home after police say he set it on fire then fired shots at responding officers is identified as 72-year-old Henry Ackles.
Officers say neighbors called 9-1-1 yesterday to report Ackles' home was on fire and that he was firing gunshots.
Responding officers were kept at bay for about three hours before SWAT officers entered the home and found Ackles dead.
Deputies say they did not fire back at Ackles and they're still investigating Ackles' cause of death.
No one else was hurt.
The fire caused about 100-thousand dollars worth of damage to the home.
