(KSL News) -- For the third time this month a hiker was rescued after falling near a waterfall in the mountains above Salt Lake.
A 43-year old woman with a youth group from Iowa was hiking near Donut Falls. She fell 15 to 30 feet and suffered head and neck injuries.
A Division of Wildlife Resorces Officer was in the area and called in the emergency. Rescuers carried her off the mountain.
Already this month hikers have been rescued near waterfalls in Rocky Mouth and Bell Canyons.
