(KSL News) -- A 35-year old man was flown to the hospital today after he fell while rock climbing near Timpanogas Cave.

He was climbing with a group of friends when the rope apparently ran out. By the time the climber on the bottom of the rope realized it, it was too late to do anything.

The victim fell about 20 feet and suffered serious back injuries.
