(KSL News) -- Another Utah Marine has been named Marine Corps Times newspaper's 2004 Marine of the Year.
Staff Sergeant Wade Davis of Warren, Utah received the award Thursday.
Davis serves with the Third Marine Air Wing, which is based in California. He was selected for the award because of his experience in more than 100 combat sorties in Iraq, Afghanistan, and East Timor.
He was also in one of the helicopters that ferried Army Rangers to rescue Private First Class Jessica Lynch last year.
