(KSL News) -- A brush fire broke out in Orem this afternoon. The fire started at a car wrecking yard just off Geneva road, in the middle of an industrial area.
Workers were using a blow torch to cut up metal, when the torch lit some grass on fire. The flames quickly spread to the field around it, burning about five acres and hundreds of tires at the wrecking yard.
It came close to some structures, but was quickly contained.
