WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah (AP) -- Since arresting a Sandy man on suspicion of having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl he met in an Internet chat room, police have identified and arrested two more men suspected of having sex with the girl.
On July 10, police arrested the 23-year-old Sandy man. After going through the girl's computer they arrested a 20-year-old West Valley man Thursday and 25-year-old Ogden man on Saturday.
West Bountiful Police Chief Mike Wright said the Ogden suspect believed he was chatting with the 15-year-old and came to her house within 45 minutes. He actually was chatting with police officers.
Wright said the girl came home late July 6, and, when confronted by her mother, said she was out with an adult male she had met on the Internet. The mother called police.
