LEHI, Utah (AP) -- Two Lehi police officers are in trouble in separate incidents, and one of them is a school resource officer.

Langford Meeks was charged on June 29 with supplying alcohol to a minor and tampering with an official government record, both misdemeanors.

The 34-year-old is a school resource officer at Lehi Junior High School and has been an officer with the department for three years. The charges stem from alleged incidents in June, but the details were not immediately released.

In a separate case, 36-year-old officer Arthur Henderson was charged July 16 with simple assault in connection with an incident June 26 in Lehi.

The officers face disciplinary action from their department and Lehi city in addition to any penalties if convicted on the charges.
