BLISS, Idaho (AP) -- Three people are dead after a head-on collision on Interstate 84 near Bliss.

Idaho State Police say that 25-year-old Nibley, Utah resident Matthew Brown was driving east through a construction zone yesterday when his Mitsubishi Eclipse crossed into the westbound lane.

He crashed into a Mercury Marquis driven by 46-year-old Twin Falls, Idaho resident Gary Whitehead.

Brown was killed, along with Gary Whitehead and Valerie Whitehead, both also 46-years old.

Eighteen-year-old Stacie Lynn Whitehead was riding in the back seat of the Mercury, and she was listed in critical condition yesterday.

Another passenger in the Mitsubishi -- 24-four-year-old Kenny Mitton -- is also in critical condition.
