SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) -- Firefighters expect to gain the upper hand on the Red Bull Fire burning more than 17-hundred acres in Spanish Fork Canyon.

Fire officials say firefighters made progress yesterday on the fire and it's now 75-percent contained.

Fire officials are urging motorists to use caution along U-S Highway six through Spanish Fork Canyon where crews and support vehicles are operating.

More than 400 firefighters assisted by four choppers battled the blaze yesterday.

The fire is expected to be fully contained by 6 p-m today.

The fire was caused last Thursday by lightning.
