(KSL News) -- A large group of professional women gathered today at Westminster College to announce the creation of a new information resource on the web.

The women are part of the Utah Women's Alliance for Building Community or UWABC. It's an organization made up of dozens of women representing diverse professional backgrounds.
Today they launched the organization's Resource Directory.
Julie Kilgore, UWABC President: "This was a directory that was envisioned to highlight the expertise of professional women -- women in business, or women who have a particular expertise or passion in an area."
The directory lists people who are knowledgeable about a variety of different topics and issues.
The organization emphasizes that the directory can be used free of charge and can be accessed by anyone in the media or general public.
