Shelley Osterloh reportingSaturday morning, Olympic Wrestler Rulon Gardner heads to Athens to defend his Gold Medal, and to hopefully win another.

But Friday, he told me he's not quite ready for the games. He's just gearing up, after winding down from a whirlwind fundraising tour, to raise money for his family to travel to Athens.

You may have spotted Rulon Gardner in the Days of 47 KSL Parade a couple of weeks ago.

The woman on the back of the bike: Lisa Nichols Gardner. It was the morning after their wedding.

Instead of a honeymoon, the newlyweds have been busy getting ready for the games...

A quick stop on the Jay Leno show, and a series of fund raising golf tournaments and dinners in several states aimed at raising enough money to take Gardner's Star Valley family of 18 to the Games.

Lisa says, its been a crazy two weeks.

Lisa Gardner: “Hectic, but we knew it would be , so... Its worth it.”

Rulon Gardner: “She thinks so far.. But she is going to really experience the joy... The Athens experience"

Gardner says, even though he heads to Greece tomorrow, and wrestles in about 2 and half weeks, he is not ready, at least mentally.

Rulon Gardner : "About a week before... Then its really focus time. Until then its just relax a little bit, watch film watch tape.. Make sure my training is in order and then really focus the last two days.. Then everything is ready when I walk into the tournament, its hungry desire and determination when i walk out there."

Gardner plans to share his experience with fans, through his website.

If people want to e-mail, have questions they'd like to ask me they can e-mail me at RulonGardner.com and just say hey... What do you think of the athletes and the Olympic village and we'd love to make it as interactive as possible... Because we want to share the experience with the whole world""

And so do we! Keep it tuned to KSL and NBC for your exclusive look at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
