(KSL News) -- Today water managers showed off ways to conserve water during these 90 degree days, but not at the expense of your yard.
Members of the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District performed a water check, and soil test on a yard in West Jordan.
The check helps determine if the homeowner is using too much water.
If you live in the district's eight counties, these water checks are a free service.
To schedule a free water check for your yard, follow the link to the district's web site.
