(KSL News) South Salt Lake officials say a house fire may be the work of an arsonist.
Firefighters arrived on scene just after 2:30 this morning to find an abandoned home at 3390 S Riviera Dr. completely engulfed in flames.

They aren't sure how the fire started, but are calling it suspicious.
Investigators say they are now looking for suspects and have a message for them.
Chief Steve Foote/ South Salt Lake Fire Dept.: "We're not amused anymore. These fires have gotten way out of hand, and are taxing our resources, and putting people at risk."
Authorities say a similar blaze was started at another abandoned home in the same area early Saturday morning.
Both houses were already set for demolition.

No word yet if these cases are connected.
