(KSL News) -- A swarm of Yellow Jackets attacked two boys today in North Salt Lake.
The boys' dog found the Yellow Jackets' hive, right in the ground of a neighbor's lawn.
Once the dog went after the yellow jackets, the boys were in trouble.
Jonathan Byrne, Yellow Jacket victim: "They started coming for my friend but one got on my dog and i hit that one down so that almost all of them came for me after they went for my friend."
Jonathon Byrne suffered at least 25 stings, and they left some welts.
He had a severe reaction earlier, but after several hours in the emergency room, and several shots, he's going to be fine.
