THOMPSON SPRINGS, Utah (AP) -- Two people are dead after a van crash in southeastern Utah.
The Utah Highway Patrol says two Nevada families were eastbound on I-70 when a tire apparently blew out, sending the van rolling into the median about 30 miles west of the Colorado state line. The accident happened around 9:30 a-m (mountain) yesterday.
The Patrol says 46-year-old Frank Enriquez of Las Vegas an unidentified woman were killed in the accident. Six others in the van were injured, including four who remained in critical condition at a Grand Junction, Colo., hospital.
