(KSL News) A gunman is on the loose after robbing a Salt Lake City Papa Murphy's Pizza store.

Police say the man walked into the Papa Murphy's at 300 S. 700 East around 8:30 last night, stood in line quietly and waited for another customer to leave before making his move.

George Pregman/ Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "As soon as he left the suspect approached the counter and made his demands."

He ordered a pizza from the woman at the counter, then showed her a weapon inside his jacket and a note demanding money.

Officers say she gave him cash from the register before leaving on foot.

The man is described as being in his late 20's, thin build and clean shaven face.

He's 6 feet tall, last seen wearing a dark baseball cap and khaki pants.
