SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Investigators have little to go on in the death of a cat that appears to have been tortured in Salt Lake City.
The black and white cat named "Pepper" was found dead yesterday across the street from the home where it lived.
Investigators tell KSL-TV it had two leashes wrapped around its neck and a third wrapped around its front paws.
Salt Lake County Animal Services officials say they have only sketchy leads as to know may be responsible.
The cat's owner says she's both saddened and angry by her cat's violent death.
