(KSL News) -- A family and hundreds of volunteers have refused to give up looking for a boy scout missing in the High Uintas. 12-year old Garrett Bardsley wandered off from his campsite more than one week ago.

More than 500 people met this morning to comb through some of the areas that haven't been searched thoroughly. Hundreds more law enforcement officers also went over places they have visited before.

Volunteers say they want their work to keep up hope.

The search is scheduled again for tomorrow morning. But law enforcement officers say they'll scale back if they don't find anything.
