(KSL News) -- Firefighters in Davis county are mourning the tragic loss of one of their own.
Funeral services were held today for David Parsell, a firefighter who served with both the Kaysville and Farmington fire departments. Parsell was hit and killed by a teen driver in Sunset.

His fellow workers say he was known county-wide for his personality and dedication to helping others.
Capt. Brett Larkin, Kaysville Fire Chief: "He was always the first to do something, the last to leave. He was always jovial and happy and always willing to do anything for anybody else."
Parcell leaves behind a three-year old son.
