SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Department of Health says don't let your guard down when it comes to West Nile.

Officials say cooling temperatures doesn't mean Utah residents are out of the woods yet. Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus are still active.

The Utah Department of Health reminds residents to continue to "Fight the Bite" and wear DEET while outdoors between dusk and dawn, especially in time for the Labor Day weekend.

So far, health officials have confirmed six human cases of the virus in Utah.
