(KSL News) The Utah Highway Patrol got some unexpected help in a traffic arrest.
A car was going down American Fork Canyon last night when its driver slammed into another car and started driving away.
A witness to the accident followed the car, and boxed it in until troopers arrived.
Kent Chipman/ Witness: "We were going really slow. I just got in front of him and kept going slow till we finally just touched bumpers and we got him stopped."
Authorities arrested the man who they say caused the accident.
The vicitms went to the hospital but were not seriously hurt.
