(KSL News) Police are keeping a close watch on Sandy city schools this week. They're on the lookout for a sexual assault suspect.
Friday, a Jordan High School student told police she was walking across the school's parking lot when a man approached her, grabbed her, and started touching her inappropriately.
Police say the girl screamed, hit the man in the face, and then he left.
There's not much to go on: Police say the man is white, five-six to five-ten, thin build, with short black hair. Anyone with information about the incident or identity of the suspect can call Sandy Police at 840-4000.
