(KSL News) -- The Salt Lake County Health Department says there is no official confirmation a Utah resident died from West Nile Virus.
That word in response to questions about a published obituary claiming 60 year old Linda Larson died Saturday in Salt Lake City of complications from West Nile virus.
The health department issued this clarification: As of today, "there have been no physician reported deaths in Salt Lake County due to complications of WNV [west nile virus.]
The county has documented two West Nile cases, but say both individuals recovered.
