FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) -- Interstate-15 near Farmington will be closed in both directions on Friday and Saturday nights this weekend so workers can demolish a bridge.
The Department of Transportation says southbound motorists will be diverted off the freeway at exit 327 and northbound motorists will be diverted off I-15 at exit 325.
Motorists in both directions will be detoured onto Lagoon Drive where they will be directed back onto the highway.
Transportation officials say they're demolishing a bridge that crosses over I-15 and they're doing it at night to impact the fewest number of motorists.
The closures will happen Friday night from 10 p-m to 9 a-m Saturday and again at the same time Saturday night into Sunday morning.
