(KSL News) -- Sons of Utah Pioneer members helped rededicate a historic monument today.
The monument honors quarry workers who delivered granite used for many Salt Lake buildings.
The original monument became hidden by trees. It's now been moved to the trailhead of temple quarry in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Joseph B. Wirthlin, apostle for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, offered a re-dedicatory prayer.
