(KSL News) -- Two brothers are each charged with first-degree felony murder in the stabbing death of an 18-year-old South Salt Lake City man more than a week ago.

A police investigation started at the apartment, located near 2640 S. Windsor St., where a fight had been reported.

Late last week, Alejandro and Raul Carrillo were arrested after witnesses reported the brothers fighting with the victim, Daniel Johnson, September 18th.

According to the charges, Alejandro handed a knife to his brother, then one of them opened the door of a car Johnson was driving and stabbed him in the leg.

Johnson drove himself to his mother's home.

He later died in the hospital, from bleeding of a severed artery.
