(KSL News) -- After years of debate over a stretch of Holladay Boulevard, city leaders have made a decision.

They're closing it.

This will allow a developer of a Holladay office building to build an access road to I-215 for his tenants.

Holladay Boulevard, south of 62-hundred South will close to prevent office employees from using the street as a main artery through the city.

The mayor wants to develop the area into a city park.
