That officer joined with the special crimes unit, got a search warrant, and found a greenhouse bursting at the seams with marijuana plants.

Sgt. Keith Livingston/ South Salt Lake Police Dept.: "Most of the plants ranged anywhere from six feet tall to 12 to 14 feet, guessing myself, but they're quite tall. It was a fairly large operation. We were a bit surprised when we executed the search warrant to find this many plants at the residence."

A husband and wife in their 50s are in the County jail and face numerous charges. The street value of the plants is estimated at 100-thousand dollars.
