(KSL News) A man survives a fiery crash in Salt Lake County.

Sheriff's deputies say the 22 year old ran over a boulder while traveling west on 9800 South. His car then burst into flames.

Neighbors noticed the accident, and were able to pull the driver from the car. He was then taken to the hospital to be treated for non -life threatening injuries.

Authorities say he could be cited for driving under the influence.
