SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A Davis County man already in jail for beating a Clearfield woman with a hammer and raping her 14-year-old daughter has been sentenced in another case.

Michael Dyer will serve up to 15 years in prison for sexually molesting a ten-year-old girl after promising her a puppy.

That came after the 32-year-old pleaded guilty to felony sexual abuse of a child.

The sentence is concurrent to the 21-years-to-life Dyer got for the attack on the mother and daughter.

Both crimes occurred in February.
