(KSL News) -- An LDS temple is getting a final touch.
The Manhattan New York Temple put a statue of the Angel Moroni on its roof today.
It was dedicated this June without the gold leafed steeple.
The temple serves more than 40,000 church members in New York, New Jersey and Conneticut.
Joseph Smith founded the LDS Church in New York in 1830.
