SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Division of Water Resources is asking residents to avoid watering their lawns until next spring to help the state deal with low water levels.
Officials say lawns are going dormant, and it won't harm them to go without watering for a few months anyway.
Though water use has dropped 17 percent over the past four years, a persistent drought has kept the state in water trouble.
