(KSL News) -- Leaders of Utah's religious community gathered today to support ammending the state's constitution to define marriage as being between a man and a woman.
Sixty leaders from various churches around the state signed a petition put together by Utahns for a Better Tomorrow.
Today representatives from the group explained why they think the amendment is necessary. The group claimed that the amendment does not diminish or deny any existing legal rights as has been claimed by those opposing the amendment.
