(KSL News) Our own poitical reporter, Richard Piatt, was among the hundreds of media outlets in Tempe for last night's presidential debate.
He caught up with some of those who got to watch the debate in person, to get their take on who they thought came out on top. And as usual, it depends on who you ask.
Karl Rove/ Bush Campaign Advisor: "President Bush showed tonight he's a strong closer. This debate tonight was a fantastic closer for the president."
Joe Lockhart/ Kerry Campaign Advisor: "The President had attacks, he had excuses and he had slogans. He didn't have the actions. He didn't have the deeds, and that's why Kerry won so decisively."
An exclusive suvey USA poll done exclusively for KSL-5 here in Utah shows a majority of you thought the president clearly won-- 57 percent to Kerry's 25 percent.
