(KSL News) -- A huge Salt Lake drug ring has finally been dismantled. Today kingpin Irven Douglas Adams received a life prison sentence.

In March of 2003 24 people were indicted for distributing hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine. Since then, 22 of the defendants have received sentences.

Two are still fugitives.

Three businesses have closed -- Up in Smoke, Discount Cigarette Factory Outlet, and Alachi's Bar and Grill were used to cook meth and launder money.
