Car Accident Leaves Two in Critical Condition

(KSL News) -- An early morning accident left two people in critical condition in Salt Lake County.

The accident happened just before 8:00 this morning, near 48th South and Redwood Road.

Car Accident Leaves Two in Critical Condition

Police say two cars collided head on.

One car was carrying an elderly couple, and the other a young man. Both men were thrown from their vehicles and sustained critical injuries.

The young man was airlifted to LDS Hospital. The older man was taken to University Hospital. His wife was taken to St. Marks in fair condition.
