(KSL News) -- An attempted kidnapping has ended peacefully. The mother of an infant girl and two-year-old boy tried to take the children from their father's house.

Lori Degraw, Responding Officer: "The mother who has a court order to stay away from the children responded here today, the father thinking she's coming here to pick up some clothes, answers the door and they come in and take the children."

The man and his brother took the children to a safe place.

The couple never married and the man has custody.

Police are still looking for the woman, and two other people involved in the kidnapping attempt.
