(KSL News) A car wreck on Interstate 80 near Saltair left one man in critical condition this morning.

Man Critically Injured in I-80 Wreck

Witnesses tell state troopers the man was going well over the speed limit, when he attempted to make a U-turn. A minivan following behind him then struck his car. Both vehicles ended up in the median.

The man was air lifted to LDS Hospital in critical condition. A family of five in the minivan suffered minor injuries.
